Special Announcement - AMNA and AMLD Announce $33,000 Urban Forest Grant for Neighborhood Parks

The Anderson Mill Neighborhood Association (AMNA) and Anderson Mill Limited District (AMLD) are excited to jointly announce a major win for our community: a $33,000 Urban Forest Grant! This funding will bring 60 new trees and 110 saplings to North Park, Millrun Dog Park, the trails along Pecan Creek Parkway, and El Salido Parkway and Park. Planting is scheduled for Fall 2026.

Huge thanks go to Green Space Team Chair Mandy Henke, Heather Podlipny, and Katina Bohrer for securing this award. This builds on our success in 2025, when a similar $11,000 grant funded 43 trees and essential watering equipment across El Salido, Harper, and Old Stage parks.
