About the Anderson Mill Neighborhood Association

The Anderson Mill Neighborhood Association (AMNA) is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization created by residents to strengthen community connections and improve the quality of life in the Anderson Mill area.

AMNA is organized for charitable and educational purposes, providing programs and activities that promote environmental stewardship, neighborhood safety, community awareness, and opportunities for neighbors to connect with one another.

Our mission is to support a welcoming and informed community by providing educational programs, sharing information about neighborhood resources and events, and organizing volunteer-led activities that benefit the Anderson Mill community.

What AMNA Does

AMNA provides a variety of programs and activities that encourage residents to stay informed, get involved, and build stronger connections with their neighbors.

Community Education and Information

AMNA publishes a regular community newsletter and provides informational updates that help residents stay informed about neighborhood activities, safety awareness, environmental topics, and local resources.

Environmental Stewardship and Gardening

AMNA supports educational programs related to gardening, tree care, and neighborhood beautification. The AMNA Garden Club and related activities provide opportunities for residents to learn about landscaping, sustainable practices, and caring for shared green spaces.

Neighborhood Safety and Awareness

AMNA helps promote neighborhood safety through educational programs and community initiatives such as Neighborhood Watch awareness and participation in National Night Out.

Community Events and Engagement

AMNA organizes and supports community events that help neighbors meet one another and build a stronger sense of community. Activities may include neighborhood gatherings, recreational events, and volunteer projects.

These events help create opportunities for residents of all ages to connect, share ideas, and contribute to a vibrant neighborhood.

Community Participation

AMNA is powered entirely by volunteers who care about the Anderson Mill community. Residents are encouraged to participate in events, share ideas, and contribute to the programs that help strengthen the neighborhood.

Household contributions help support AMNA’s charitable and educational programs and make community events and activities possible.

Non-Partisan Community Organization

AMNA is a non-partisan nonprofit organization. The association provides educational information about community issues and helps facilitate communication among residents, local organizations, and governmental entities when appropriate.

AMNA does not support or oppose political candidates or political parties.
