Hello Anderson Mill Neighbors!

As we move through the last stretch of winter, our neighborhood is beginning to look ahead to brighter days and the promise of spring. Even with the chill in the air, there’s a sense of fresh energy as plans, projects, and community events start to take shape. This time of year is perfect for reconnecting with neighbors, getting outdoors when the sun appears, and preparing our homes and yards for the season ahead. Here’s what’s happening in our community and how you can stay involved in the weeks to come:

✂️Tree and Shrub Pruning Workshop

One important cold-weather garden chore is trimming and pruning overgrown shrubs and trees before spring brings new growth. Join us for a Pruning Workshop on Sunday, February 22, led by a Master Gardener who will share practical tips and tricks for pruning shrubs and trees with confidence.

📅When: Sunday, February 22, from 2–4 p.m.

Primary Election Information - Important Dates and Voting Details

Voting is one of the most important responsibilities of citizenship, and a powerful way to shape the future of our communities. By participating in elections, citizens help choose leaders, influence decisions on schools, roads, public safety, and other issues that affect daily life. It ensures that government reflects the will of the people, honors the sacrifices made to protect this right, and gives everyone a voice in the direction of the country. It’s time to let your voice be heard.

⏱️Early Voting begins Tuesday, February 17, 2026

📨Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (received, not postmarked): Friday, February 20, 2026

If you plan to vote by mail, you must register at the beginning of each year.

❗Last Day of Early Voting: Friday, February 27, 2026

📅Primary Election Day: Tuesday, March 3, 2026

📍Where You Can Vote During Early Voting (Feb 17–27): You may vote at any early voting location in your county. Days, times, and locations vary, so check your county elections website for details. (Travis | Williamson)

📍Where You Can Vote On Election Day (March 3): Williamson County voters must vote at their assigned neighborhood precinct location. Locations will be listed at wilcotx.gov/elections once posted. Travis County voters may vote at any polling location in the county.
